What is Cenforce?
Cenforce 100 mg soft tab is a past acting male erection pill. It is detectable in plasma as soon as 10 minutes after consumption. Like Viagra, it is prescribed for the problems of sexual dysfunction.
Class and Mechanism of Action
Cenforce soft tabs contain Sildenafil citrate which is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor. Its PDE5 inhibiting action releases more of cGMP in the Corpus Cavernosum of a penis. An increased level of cGMP relaxes the smooth muscles and improves blood flow. It also stimulates the dopamine receptors in the brain. It causes dilation of the pelvic arteries and relaxation of penile smooth muscles. The improved flood flow results in an effective erection which can last up to 4 hours.
Looking after your drug
Store it at room temperatures (Not more than 30 0 C) and away from light and moisture.
How to take Cenforce?
It is supposed to be dissolved in the mouth. Take it 10-20 minutes prior to a sexual activity. Do not chew or swallow. Allow it to dissolve in the mouth, preferably under the tongue.
Dosage
It is a powerful and fast acting medication. Consult your doctor for the correct dose. Usually, one tab every three days is found to be effective.
Overdose
Consult your doctor right away.
Missed Dose
If it is time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose or else take it as soon as you remember. Do not double dose.
Warnings and Precautions
Do not medicines containing nitrates along with this medicine. Avoid alcohol. Do not use if you are under 18 years of age. Consult your doctor if you had an attack of MI or stroke in the last 6 years or if you use a pacemaker.
